I’ve sand cast the oak branch twig and acorns, from a local oak tree, in recycled sterling silver and then finished them up to highlight their rustic woodsy details ... hand crafted jewelry, in my little studio, because how it's made matters.

Sand casting is a multi step hand crafted process that involves creating a mold in sand, melting metal (in this case sterling silver) and pouring the molten metal into the sand mold.
