Mighty oaks from little acorns grow ... an oak tree branch twig necklace pendant, gorgeously textured in sterling silver ... naturally beautiful botanical jewelry.

The oak tree is often referred to as the king of trees and is symbolic of strength, stability, endurance, power and ancient wisdom. I’ve taken a small fallen branch from an oak tree with its  roots firmly planted in the earth, representing the past and the present.

I’ve sand cast the fallen oak branch twig, from a local oak tree, in recycled sterling silver and then finished them up to highlight their rustic woodsy details ... hand crafted jewelry, in my little studio, because how it's made matters.

Sand casting is a multi step hand crafted process that involves creating a mold in sand, melting metal (in this case sterling silver) and pouring the molten metal into the sand mold.
