Make an impression with this really interesting antique (1910) desk wax seal depicting an ornate family crest shield, within which is a standing swan. What’s really interesting about this seal is its handle … an ornate sterling silver vignette/compartment with cherubs and floral designs.  What an addition to any antique collection.

Please review the photos carefully as they are the most important part of the description. Also, some of the antique seals are very large, some very small, and I have carefully measured each, see below.

So much mystery but I'll leave the enjoyment of the research to you. 

- approximate height - 2 1/2“ (60mm)
- matrix measurement -1” x 7/8” (25mm x 22mm)
- matrix metal - a silver metal, possibly sterling silver like the rest of the seal
- the topside of the matrix is engraved with a date: 7.20.1910 and initials B-K
- handle - a sterling silver vignette, as described above - please note it was sold to me as sterling silver but I have not tested it
