Make an impression with this beautiful 1800’s fob wax seal depicting a dove, with an olive branch in his beak, balancing on a heart, under the French sentiment L’AMOUR which translates LOVE

Please review the photos carefully as they are the most important part of the description. Also, some of the antique seals are very large, some very small, and I have carefully measured each, see below.

So much mystery but I'll leave the enjoyment of the research to you. 

- approximate height - 1 1/4“ (31mm) including the loop
- matrix measurement - 1 1/8” x 3/4” (29mm x 17mm)
- matrix -light agate - chalcedony
- fob handle - sold to me as 9k gold, but I have not tested it, and stating that the bezel surrounding the stone could be a base metal
