antique trinket box - Prince and Princess of Wales
A lovely little souvenir trinket box or snuff box - a hinged box with a mother of pearl or bone mosaic inlay and two photographs - the Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales.

- age - dates between 1863 - 1901
- measures 3 3/4" x 2" x 7/8"
- unsure of the material but I've included a photo of the interior which shows a translucence to it the brown material ... tortoiseshell?
- some of the hinges are separated, with cracking, so the box does not close all the way - see the photos

The Prince and Princess of Wales - the Prince, Edward VII (Albert Edward; 9 November 1841 – 6 May 1910) was the second child of Queen Victoria, nickname Bertie, who became King in 1901.
He was married to Princess Alexandra of Denmark, who became the Princess of Wales from 1863 to 1901.
