-symbolism-
It is said that the symbolism of spider webs are deeply connected to destiny, creativity, and the intricate balance of life. Woven with precision, these delicate structures represent the threads of fate to remind us that our actions and decisions shape our journey.
Spider webs are symbolic of resilience, since they can be rebuilt after destruction, and that informs us to adapt and persevere in the face of challenges.

I've impressed a spider web wax seal into wax, twice, shaped the web fragments and added a suspension loop before having it lost wax cast in sterling silver. Once back in my hands I finish them up in my little studio ... hand crafted jewelry because it matters.
A spider can rebuild its web daily, if need be, as webs are often damaged by the elements like wind, rain and animals despite the strength of the spider silk. That silk comes from the spider’s abdomen, from its spinnerets, and this type of silk is different than that produced by other insects … it helps the spider to catch its prey, to swing from place to place, to communicate with other spiders and provides a resting place for spiders … its head down in the center of the web while waiting for prey. Webs vary by shape, size and design, from an organized pattern to a messy tangle but follow the same structural plan which repeats a never-ending pattern.
This Fibonacci sequence allows for the web to be strengthened and also remain compact. Nature uses the Fibonacci sequence to accommodate growth and the length of the potential web. It's something innate in the spider ... instinctual.
Impressed with endlessly interesting history!
