The North Star, or Polaris, is an ancient symbol of guidance and direction ... navigators and travelers have long used the North Star to determine their location and navigate the seas.
The spiral, that simple swirling shape, is symbolic of growth, transformation, rebirth and spiritual evolution.

- the star wishing wand is 3 dimensional, no flat back side
- star wishing wand metal - white bronze (primarily copper, tin, and zinc) but as white bronze there's a tint of yellow to it

- I do recommend the polish pad with any of the bronze jewelry as the color does turn quickly and can be easily restored.

And I should mention that this little magical star wand pendant can also be used as a little bubble wand … spreading beautiful magical bubbles into the wind, sparking joy wherever they fly.

The wand handle was borrowed from mother nature, from a lovely old weeping white pine branch and the wishing star was sculpted in wax with a lovely hand carved swirl on each side. I've sand cast the parts separately and then soldered them together. Once that was finished up I had them cast in a white bronze, cleaned them up and finished them and antiqued them to highlight the rustic details from the branch and the sand ...
