In heraldry, the skull is symbolic of mortality and a reminder that death comes to all living things ... the Latin sentiment MEMENTO MORI means remember your death and is meant to inspire you to intentionally think about your own death every day, as a means of appreciating the present and focus on the future.

I've sculpted the little skull from a chunk of carving wax, sand cast it in sterling silver and finished it up all in my own little studio ... hand crafted jewelry because how it's made matters.  please note, each little skull will be different ... they have been individually sand cast so textures will vary and the little bone looking loops are individually made and soldered in place.
