*An interesting note about the engraver, Hester Bateman, 1708 - 1794, who was an English silversmith. She successfully continued her family silversmith business for 30 years following the death of her husband as did her sons, grandsons and great grandson after her death and the family business continued until the middle of the nineteenth century.
