For the collector and or history buff, an interesting large 19th century personal desk wax seal that once belonged to General Paez (1790 - 1873), José Antonio Páez Herrera was a military leader in the Venezuelan Wars of Independence. His name is in the central banner and it is surrounded by his motto, in Latin, NIL ARDUUM MORTALIBUS which translates NOTHING DIFFICULT LIVES literally or figuratively is a challenge saying GO AHEAD.
