I'm not sure if he's a soldier from the Continental Army or a red coat from the British Army but he's a well dressed soldier holding his sword and stands between the letters G and B - possibly for Great Britain?  The jewel like shape of the glass intaglio, beveled on top and underneath, suggests it may have once been part of a jewelry item or cuff link.

I'm really not sure of the provenance of this uniformed army soldier clear glass intaglio.

Please study the photos ... they offer the best and most accurate description of the antique wax seal.

- the rectangular glass seal measures almost 7/8" x 3/4" x just over 3/8" at its thickest
- there are a few tiny flea bites around the outer edge but mostly what you see is the texture of the pressed glass.
