A lovely wooden match safe box, identified as a trick opening vesta match safe ... sort of puzzle styled with two compartments, that when you slide it open one way it reveals the matches and slide it open another way it reveals the striker.  The lid is an engraved (I'm sure there's a proper descriptive word for it but I can't think of it) or wood burned design of a crest, with supporters, and a patterned design around the border.
