An interesting heavy rustic bronze signet ring with an engraving of a person holding a bunch of grapes in one hand and a scythe in the other with the original owners initials IMV ... ready to adorn your finger or create an impression in wax!   It was likely the signet ring belonging to a grape grower.

It was sold to me as a Colonial ring but there are no markings to date it.

- matrix measurement - 5/8" x 1/2" (15mm x 13mm)
- metal - bronze or brass
- ring size - on my mandrel it measure US ring size 9 1/2 but it's really closer to a size 10 because the ring is not round ... it's a bit wider on the sides.  You can see this in the 4th photo.
